What is a candidate referral scheme?

What is a “referral” and when does it count?

Basically, if you know about a friend, colleague or family member that you think could excel at one of our advertised vacancies, let us know. If we successfully place that person, you get your choice of reward. Sound good?

A little more about the candidate referral scheme process:

1. You spot a contract or permanent position advertised by us and think you might know the perfect candidate. Here’s a tip: let us know about any marketing guns you know, even if there are no relevant positions at that time. We can proactively find them a role if they’re open to it.
2. Send us their info – but get the go-ahead from the candidate first.
3. Your work is done. If we think they’re a good fit for any roles we’re working on, we’ll get in touch with them.
4. If we successfully place the candidate within 6 months of you telling us about them, you get paid! (On the basis of them staying in the position for at least 3 months.)

How much do recruiters pay for referrals?

Each marketing recruitment agency differs in the referral fee they’re willing to pay. Some offer vouchers or vary the payment depending on the awarded salary. We prefer to keep things simple. You’ll receive a £250 referral reward for every successful referral, following a 3-month period in the new role.
