Job Title: Technical SEO Manager

Location: Oxford (Hybrid)

Salary: £40,000 – £50,000

A leading digital agency specialising in Fame and Findability, combining 20+ years of media relations expertise with SEO specialists and content creators. The agency works with high-profile B2B and B2C brands across industries such as finance, energy, healthcare, FMCG, and automotive.

 

Roles & Responsibilities

As a Technical SEO Manager, you will play a pivotal role in shaping and executing SEO strategies that drive measurable results. You will report to the Head of Organic and work closely with the On-Page SEO and Content teams to deliver maximum SEO value.

 

Key Responsibilities

  • Conducting comprehensive technical SEO audits and communicating insights to clients.
  • Analysing website performance and providing actionable recommendations.
  • Managing crawling, indexing, and site architecture for both client websites and the agency’s own site.
  • Leading website migration projects and providing strategic guidance.
  • Developing tracking and reporting frameworks, including performance dashboards.
  • Keeping up with search engine algorithm updates and industry trends.

 

Skills & Experience

  • 3-5 years’ experience in SEO, digital PR, or content marketing (agency or in-house).
  • Strong technical SEO expertise, including audits, migrations, UX optimisation, and data analysis.
  • Proficiency in Google Analytics, Google Search Console, Sistrix, Ahrefs, Screaming Frog (Adobe Analytics is a bonus).
  • Strong organisational skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects.
  • Consultative mindset with the ability to give clear direction to teams and clients.
