Role Overview
As the Social Strategist, you will play a pivotal role in harnessing the power of social data to drive actionable insights and optimise strategies. This is a hands-on role, perfect for someone who thrives on delving into social analytics and translating findings into tangible opportunities for improvement.
Your key responsibilities will include:
- Leveraging social listening tools: Using tools such as Tagger to gather, analyse, and interpret social data, identifying key trends and insights.
- Conducting deep-dive analyses: Understanding the data in detail and extracting meaningful insights, rather than simply creating plans around next actions.
- Upskilling the team: Sharing your expertise by mentoring and training colleagues, setting standards for data-driven strategies and best practices.
- Identifying opportunities: Spotting trends and areas for improvement to optimise social media campaigns and provide recommendations that can drive new business opportunities.
- Driving social strategy: Using insights to shape innovative social media strategies that align with client objectives and business goals.
Skills & Experience
- Proven experience in social strategy: A solid background in social media analytics and strategy development, ideally within a mid-level position.
- Expertise with social listening tools: Strong proficiency in platforms like Tagger, with the ability to independently gather and interpret data.
- Analytical mindset: A deep understanding of social data, with the ability to draw actionable insights from complex datasets.
- Team leadership skills: Experience in mentoring or upskilling team members, with a focus on fostering a culture of data-driven decision-making.
- Proactive problem-solving: The ability to identify opportunities for improvement and translate them into impactful strategies that support client and agency growth.
