About the Company 

Following a series of new business wins, this award winning, integrated and data driven agency in Leeds city centre is seeking a Social Media Manager to join their team and assist with account management. 

The agency collaborates with global household name brands across various industries, offering you a diverse range of work and the chance to significantly influence the Social Media strategy for these client accounts.  

While the role is based in Leeds city centre, the agency provides hybrid and flexible working options: in-office time is dedicated to cross-channel collaboration, training, and mentoring the junior members of the Social Media team. 

 

Social Media Manager Role and Responsibilities 

As the Social Media Manager, your work will be split across working with the Head of Organic Social to help grow the agencies client base, and management of existing Social Media client accounts. Your day-to-day responsibilities will include: 

  • Take charge of social media management for a diverse portfolio of clients, creating captivating content that not only aligns with the latest trends but also amplifies their social presence. 
  • Create and develop social media strategies that will support the growth of brand’s TikTok, Instagram, X, Facebook, LinkedIn, and/or Snapchat channels 
  • Be proactive to spot industry trends and design reactive campaigns for clients, including; Memes, Overlays, Music, Audios etc. 
  • Build and maintain strong client relationships while communicating effectively with senior stakeholders 
  • Assist the Head of Organic Social in pitching for new business and upselling to existing clients. 

 

Skills and Experience 

Your professional development will be an active focus for the business, as you are given a wide selection of training opportunities, quarterly performance reviews, and 121 sessions you’re your line manager to support your growth to progress to a Senior Social Media Manager position. The agency does ask that you have: 

  • 2+ years of Social Media Management experience in an agency. 
  • Experience with all major Social Media platforms: TikTok, Instagram, X, Facebook, LinkedIn, Snapchat etc. 
  • Experience using the likes of Canva, Sprinklr, Hootsuite, Meta Ads Manager, TikTok Ads Manager, Google Sheets, Pulsar 
  • Strong communication skills, and a mindset that is proactive/forward thinking 
  • Prior experience upselling/pitching for new business is not a priority, however is valued
