SEO Manager

Location: Remote in the UK

Work Rights: Must be based in the UK and have full UK work rights

Salary: £40,000 – £50,000

About the Company

Due to exciting new client acquisition, an SEO focused agency who specialises in SaaS growth is looking for an experienced and confident SEO Manager to join their team. The agency offers completely remote working, although you must have full UK working rights to be considered. Although if you prefer hybrid working, the agency does have offices in the Bristol and Shefield areas.

The business has dedicated and specialist teams for SEO, content, and outreach/ link building: Meaning your work will be predominantly focused on pure SEO strategy, campaign management, and team management.

SEO Manager Role & Responsibilities

As SEO Manager your primarily responsibility will be to lead the SEO team and be an expert in all things SEO. Additionally, your role will include:

• Working across SEO strategy, campaign management, and team management.
• Manage a portfolio of client accounts, of up to £200,000 pcm.
• Line manage a team of SEO Consultants and SEO Executives, being responsible for quality assurance, management, and offering day-to-day support.
• Lead on SEO strategy for clients and for the team.
• Take the lead on client leadership and relationship buildings, with the support of the Project Management team.
• Still remaining hands-on with the day-to-day SEO optimisations, such as keyword research, SEO audits, and analysis.

Skills and Experience

The company is committed to the development of its team, with an individual training budget and monthly progression meetings to ensure you’re being supported to grow and develop. The business does ask that you have:

• 4+ years of rounded SEO experience, in an agency environment.
• Experience in managing a team of SEOs is essential.
• Experience of working with retainers of £8,000+.
• Strong communication and client management skills and experience.
• Experience with the standard SEO tools: GA, GSC, AhRefs, Screaming Frog, SEMrush etc.
• Experience working with enterprise clients or B2B SaaS is ideal but is not essential.
• Experience working with a variety of CMS is ideal.
