Location: East London/Essex + Hybrid Working (2-days per week in the office)

Salary: £35,000 – £45,000

Roles & Responsibilities

If you’re an experienced SEO professional looking to take the next step into a managerial role with real ownership, this could be the ideal move.

As an SEO Manager, you’ll be responsible for leading SEO strategy across multiple client accounts, while also playing a key role in execution and performance. You’ll work closely with internal teams and clients to deliver campaigns that drive measurable results.

Your responsibilities will include:

  • Managing and delivering SEO strategies across a portfolio of client accounts.
  • Leading on technical, on-page, and off-page SEO initiatives.
  • Conducting audits, keyword research, and competitor analysis to inform strategy.
  • Monitoring performance and reporting on KPIs, providing insights and recommendations.
  • Collaborating with Content, Paid Media, and Development teams to ensure integrated campaigns.
  • Building strong client relationships through regular communication and updates.
  • Supporting and mentoring more junior team members where required.

You’ll typically work across multiple clients, giving you variety, ownership, and the opportunity to make a tangible impact.

Skills & Experience

You’ll be joining a business that genuinely invests in its people, with clear progression pathways and ongoing support. To be successful in this role, you’ll ideally bring:

  • 2+ years’ experience in SEO, ideally within an agency environment.
  • A well-rounded understanding of Technical, On-Page, and Off-Page SEO.
  • Experience using SEO tools such as Screaming Frog, SEMrush, Ahrefs, or similar.
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data and make informed decisions.
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Experience managing client relationships and delivering against objectives.
  • A proactive mindset with the confidence to take ownership of campaigns.
  • Strong organisational skills and attention to detail.
