SEO Account Manager

Location: London/Hybrid

Salary: £38,000 – £43,000 + Discretional Bonus

About the Company

Due to exciting new changes and growth, a brand performance agency based in Central London are looking for a SEO Account Manager to join their team.

The business works with huge name brands and household name clients that span retail, cosmetics, travel, and sports to name a few. And you will have the opportunity to work across multiple of these brands and industries.

The agency has a huge focus on progression, with their Head of Client Services and Paid Social Director having started as Account Executives at the agency. Meaning your progression to Senior Account Manager and Director position will be an active focus for the business.

While the business is based out of their modern Central London, they work in a hybrid environment with flexible working hours suited to your needs: You’ll be supported to work how is best for you.

SEO Account Manager Role and Responsibilities

As the SEO Account Manager, you will be overseeing and supporting the SEO optimisation of your team. Additionally, you will:

• Manage 3 – 5 client accounts with the support of your SEO Account Director.
• Provide SEO recommendations and enforce SEO best practice to clients.
• Line management of SEO Executives in your team, delegating and reviewing work.
• Contribute to new business pitches.
• Still remaining hands on with SEO optimisations as you progress into a strategy role.
• 1 hour per week will be dedicated to your personal training and development.

Skills and Experience

Your professional development will be an active focus for the business, as you progress to a Senior SEO Account Manager and SEO Director position. Ideally you will have:

• 2+ years of rounded SEO agency experience.
• Experience working with both content and technical SEO.
• A basic knowledge of HTML is ideal, but not essential.
• Confidence in speaking with clients of a variety of seniority.
• Experience managing and working closely with clients.
• Have achieved a 2:1 in a relevant course (Science, Business, Marketing or similar).
