We’re currently looking for a Senior SEO Manager to join one of the best business schools in the world! The Senior SEO Manager will drive SEO and content marketing success, working within a fast-paced, fun team in London. The role involves leading the SEO strategy across the blog and website, as well as restructuring and launching new websites when necessary.
You’ll work closely with other disciplines (tech, development, content, brand and design) to ensure strategies are seamless and integrated, and designed to achieve business goals.
Responsibilities will be divided as follows:
- Hands-on operational SEO work (50%)
- The management of ongoing projects (25%)
- Strategy development/pitching new ideas (25%)
THE SENIOR SEO MANAGER ROLE:
- Drive SEO strategy to meet relevant KPIs
- Conduct website audits and analyses, monitoring traffic and conversions
- Provide insights that cover both organic and non-organic channels
- Improve and optimise blogs
- Improve SEO information architecture throughout the site
- Set targets and create a plan to reach them and grow organic traffic
- Oversee all aspects of technical SEO, including the audits, providing specs to the development team and appropriate SEO tools
- Regularly meet with senior management to pitch new ideas and report on results
- Conduct audits by country, taking into account rankings and analysing competitor’s SEO strategies and results
- Conduct keyword research
- On-page SEO (content, meta data, gap analysis, etc.) and quality link-building that’s specific to the market
ABOUT YOU:
- You have at least 4 years’ SEO experience
- You’ve worked in a senior SEO role for at least 1 year
- You can train and manage other team members, ensuring quality of work consistently meets expectations
- You can prove positive results from previous SEO efforts
- Proficient in SEO analysis and in-depth audits
- Experience in web analytics (Google Analytics, Google Data Studio would be ideal) as well as common SEO tools
- The desire to continue to develop your skills in on-page and off-page SEO
- You’re self-motivated and driven by KPIs
- You have experience in managing budgets and business modelling
- You’re a strong communicator and are fluent in written and spoken English
IT WOULD BE BENEFICIAL IF YOU HAD:
- Experience managing projects that include numerous teams, such as designers and developers
- Knowledge of another language
- An understanding of wider digital marketing fields, such as PPC and social media
