Location: Leeds – Hybrid

Salary: £35,000 – £45,000

About the Company

Due to growth within the SEO team, this full-service digital marketing agency based in Leeds city centre is looking for a Senior SEO Manager to join the business and support on team leadership and account management.

The agency works with both global household name brands, and challenger brands in a variety of industries, giving you true variety in your work: And the opportunity to have a big impact on the SEO strategy of some of these client accounts.

While based in Leeds city centre, the agency offers hybrid and flexible working to it’s team: With in-office time used for cross-channel collaboration, training, and supporting the junior members of the SEO team.

Senior SEO Manager Role and Responsibilities

As the Senior SEO Manager, your work will be split across working with the Head of SEO to grow the agencies client base, and management of existing SEO client accounts. Your day-to-day responsibilities will include:

• Support the growth of the SEO offering by aiding the Head of SEO on new business, and upselling to existing clients.
• Manage a portfolio of accounts, building client relationships, and providing recommendations that will improve SEO best practice.
• Directly manage an SEO Lead, having responsibility for their professional development, delegation, and quality assurance.
• Create, develop, and deliver top level SEO strategy.
• Support with the upskilling of the SEO team on Technical SEO best practice.

Skills and Experience

Your professional development will be an active focus for the business, as you are given a personal development plan to support your progression to an SEO Director position. The agency does ask that you have:

• 4+ years of well-rounded SEO, experience in an agency.
• Strong experience creating and developing SEO strategies for multiple client accounts.
• Well-rounded SEO experience, with a strong capability in Technical SEO.
• Line and team management experience.
• Experience with the usual SEO tools: SEMrush, Google Analytics 4, Google Tag Manager, Screaming Frog, WordPress etc.
• Confidence in communicating, managing, and working externally with clients, and internally with members of the SEO team and other teams within the agency.
