Senior SEO Account Manager

Location: London

Reporting to: SEO Account Director

 

We’re looking for a senior SEO account manager who will be responsible for looking after SEO client accounts, focusing on performance and communication. You’ll coordinate integration between the growth team and the SEO team, ensuring the campaign is properly optimised and budgets are adhered to.

Ensuring the strategy is seamless across multiple disciplines, you’ll work closely with SEO strategy, content, technical and digital PR to drive the campaigns in the right direction and ensure they are fully aligned to exceed client goals.

As senior SEO account manager, you’ll be responsible for the management and guiding of junior team members, taking responsibility for their training, development and quality of delivery.

 

THE SENIOR SEO ACCOUNT MANAGER ROLE

  • Ensure a consistently high-quality work output that contributes to the client’s overall business goals
  • Lead meetings and calls with clients, being on-hand to answer technical questions where needed
  • Properly allocate resources, with support from the Account Director
  • Schedule tasks to align with priorities, workflows and roadmaps
  • Define and implement strategies for SEO clients
  • Ensure each SEO client has a search landscaping document
  • Create regular reports and forecasts for clients, with support from SEO strategy and Account Director where required
  • Make sure all work is delivered to a high standard, on time and in scope
  • Monitor performance of campaigns and feedback to team
  • Integrate with other channels to deliver best possible results
  • Manage a small team of SEO executives

 

ABOUT YOU:

  • You’re good at building relationships with both clients and internal teams
  • You can deliver reports and explain SEO insights in a clear, client-friendly way
  • You have at least 3 years’ SEO experience, which includes agency experience
  • You have experience managing and developing a team
  • You can manage multiple projects at once and meet deadlines
  • You can demonstrate successful SEO strategies you’ve built for clients
  • You’re comfortable speaking to clients
  • Strong Microsoft Excel skills
