About the Company

Herd Digital is working with an award-winning agency and one of The Drum’s ‘Elite Agencies’, who due to their continued success and growth, are looking for their latest SEO Account Manager. The company is looking for an ambitious, well-rounded SEO who is keen to learn and develop their existing skillset, and progress to an Account Director position.

While based in the heart of London, you are supported to work however works best for you: Whether that’s working in the office or working from home, only popping into the office when required.

SEO Account Manager Role & Responsibilities

Reporting to the SEO Account Director, as SEO Account Manager your main responsibilities will include overseeing the work of your team and supporting them in providing quality SEO to our clients. Additionally, you will:

• Work with the SEO Account Director on account strategies, while you take ownership of the delivery of optimisations on your accounts.
• Use your skills and experience in SEO to develop the SEO Executives in your team.
• Take the lead on day-to-day contact with clients, providing them with consistent high-end optimisations, reports, and recommendations.
• Be responsible for your own training as you work towards the SEO Account Director role.

Skills and Experience

The company is committed to the development of its team through individually tailored, internal and external training, but does ask that you have:

• 2+ years of hands-on experience with content and technical SEO*.
• Previous agency experience (desirable).
• Confidence to work with clients and build lasting relationships, as you understand best how to meet their SEO needs.
• Experience with Analytics tools, Google Search Console, Google Analytics, SEMrush etc: The essentials for every SEO.
• Line management experience (desirable)
• Technical SEO specialism (desirable).

*Experience in SEO management in a previous role may have been as an SEO Manager, Digital Marketing Manager, SEO Account Executive, SEO Executive, Technical SEO Executive, Technical SEO Manager, or something similar.
