Job Title: Head of Subscription Growth – Digital

Location: Fully remote (UK based)

Salary: £65,000 – £75,000 + bonus

 

You’ve led subscription growth before. You’ve owned the funnel, tweaked the journey, tested every variant and watched the numbers move. Now you’re after a role where you can take the lead, shape the strategy, build the roadmap, and own the results.

This business is scaling fast with a growing subscriber base and a passionate, engaged community behind it. Now it’s time to double down on retention, customer value, and lifecycle performance, and you’ll be the one leading that charge.

You’ll take full ownership of the end-to-end journey, from how someone lands on the site to how they’re welcomed, upsold, retained, and reactivated. You’ll have the tools, the data, and the autonomy to move fast, plus a highly capable team across product, CRM, creative, and performance marketing.

 

Role & Responsibilities

  • Own the full growth strategy for subscription including acquisition, retention, and everything in between
  • Build and optimise landing pages, funnels, and checkout flows to drive conversion
  • Scale lifecycle comms across email and SMS including onboarding, upsell, and churn prevention
  • Run experiments across the user journey including A/B testing and personalisation
  • Use tools like GA4, Klaviyo, Hotjar, and Unbounce to make informed, data-driven decisions
  • Collaborate with dev, design, and paid media teams to deliver joined-up experiences
  • Report on subscription KPIs including LTV, churn, ARPU, and engagement
  • Bring new ideas to the table and execute them quickly

 

Skills & Experience

  • 4 to 6 years in growth, CRO or lifecycle marketing
  • Direct experience with subscription products and a strong understanding of customer behaviour
  • Hands-on with platforms like Klaviyo, Braze, Unbounce, VWO or similar
  • Strong grasp of UX and behavioural data
  • Strategic mindset with a bias for action
  • Confident managing projects across multiple teams
  • An interest in performance-driven or enthusiast-led digital platforms is a plus
