Head of Data Science

Location: Berlin

Salary: €70,000 – €80,000

About the role

• Build and lead an expert team of Data Scientists, Data Engineers and Machine Learning Engineers
• Help better understand customer needs and use data to provide improvements on the company’s search platform
• Liaise closely with various teams such as product and engineering to execute a long-term roadmap and develop best practices.
• Design and develop innovative data products from conception into production to help improve the organisation’s online ranking and discoverability.
• Help define the customer needs using data to improve existing projects and support tech teams in roadmap planning.

About you

• Strong experience leading data science teams with a proven ability to help improve customer search experience.
• Able to work closely with cross-functonal teams to make improvements and ensure best practice.
• Previous Experience with Machine Learning and Deep Learning
• Background in applying methods within Machine Learning and statistics into real-world datasets
• Keen Interest in Search platforms and Natural Language Processing is a big plus
