Data Engineer

Location: Berlin

Salary: €40,000 – €50,000

About the role

• Design, implement and optimize data pipelines to produce clean and unified data from disparate data sources
• Maintain and optimize existing data transformation processes
• When making decisions, you think about the future already and always keep scalability to the next order of magnitude in mind.
• Manage the daily data operations

About you

• 2 – 4 years working experience as a Data Engineer
• Good knowledge in Python and SQL, high motivation in deepening coding skills
• Solid knowledge of database management concepts and a deep understanding of data modeling and warehousing
• Already has experience with data pipeline management tools
• You have worked with the AWS data stack in the past (e.g., EC2, S3, Redshift, Lambda, Athena etc.)
• Team player, highly motivated, self-driven, capable of defining own design and test scenarios
• Working experience with version control
• Experience with Bash/Linux scripting
