Content SEO Manager

Location: Germany – Remote or Hybrid. Business is based in Berlin.

Salary: Paying up to €70,000

The Company

One of the fastest-growing Affiliation companies on the German market is looking for a Content SEO Manager to drive their SEO efforts as they build a brand-new flagship website. The business’s core focus is driving high-quality traffic to customer websites across a wide variety of industries.

As you grow the business’s SEO efforts, you will grow and develop the SEO team beneath you. This also gives you the opportunity to progress in your career to a Head of SEO position over 3-5 years.

You will have your own personal training and development budget, regular feedback from your manager, and be able to attend industry events.

This role is completely remote working in Germany. There is the opportunity for hybrid work should you prefer to work out of the businesses Berlin offices, and they will provide relocation support if you decide to do this.

Content SEO Manager Role & Responsibilities

As the new SEO Manager, you will lead the development and optimisation of SEO for the business, as you work closely with the CEO to establish and lead the SEO team. Your day-to-day responsibilities will include:

• Leading on creation and development of Content SEO strategy for the business.
• Key work research, optimising content, focusing on website rankings whilst always thinking of ways to improve revenue.
• Manage Freelance Content Writers and Copywriters, providing them with Key Words and feedback, as well as contribute to articles and blogs with publishing companies.
• Manage SEO roadmap for the business, focusing on-site, with potential to develop more into technical and off-site SEO.
• Coordinate the expansion of SEO projects into new markets for the business.
• Act as leadership within the business on an SEO perspective, as you work closely with the CEO and management from Product and SEA teams.
• Developing and executing SEO for a new flagship site for the business.

Your Experience & Skills

As the business is looking to grow and expand their SEO efforts, there is the opportunity for you to grow and develop the team beneath you, as you progress to a Head of SEO position. The company does, however, ask that you have:

• 2-3 years of strong Content SEO experience is essential. Technical SEO and Off-Page SEO experience is a nice-to-have, but not essential.
• Previous SEO management experience, ideally in an affiliate marketing environment.
• Past experience managing Content writers and Copywriters, providing feedback and keywords.
• Experience in product roadmap development and collaborating with senior stakeholders.
• Expert in Keyword research and content optimisation to improve Google Rankings.
• Content strategy management experience.
• Strong analytical and organisational skills are imperative for this role.
• Strong communication skills, as you work closely with other teams within the business and work closely with customers.
