Job Title: Comms Planning Director

Location: London (Hybrid)

Salary: £65,000 – £80,000

They’re building a brand-new Comms Planning function from the ground up – bringing together media, creative, and data to deliver smarter, more connected campaigns. Role & Responsibilities

  • Define and lead the development of a new Comms Planning capability.
  • Join up channel strategy, creative and analytics from the outset of each campaign.
  • Own strategic delivery across key accounts, ensuring thinking is embedded in execution.
  • Create clear frameworks and planning tools that are adopted across teams.
  • Work closely with media, creative and analytics functions to guide campaign evolution.
  • Support team growth by mentoring junior planners and social analysts.
  • Contribute to pitch work while ensuring day-to-day planning is consistent and effective.

 

Your Skills & Experience

  • 7+ years’ experience in comms, media or channel planning roles.
  • Proven ability to lead strategy for large-scale, multi-channel campaigns.
  • Deep understanding of social media’s role across the full marketing funnel.
  • Skilled at simplifying complex ideas for senior stakeholders.
  • Passionate about integrating creative and media thinking.
  • Experienced in building planning tools, playbooks, or repeatable strategic products.
  • Previous experience shaping or building a planning function is a strong advantage.
