Salary: £35,000 – £45,000

While based in Leeds city centre, the agency offers hybrid and flexible working to it’s team: With in-office time used for cross-channel collaboration, training, and supporting the junior members of the team.

 

Back End Developer Role and Responsibilities

As a Back End Developer, you will collaborate with the Head of Engineering and Head of Development to support and deliver on client projects. Your responsibilities will include:

  • Building and optimising websites with clean, well-documented code.
  • Working closely with internal teams to align on briefs, ensuring client expectations are met.
  • Contributing to the agency’s tech discovery and supporting retainer and project-based work.
  • Analysing data and website structure, taking action based on performance recommendations.

 

Skills and Experience

The agency places strong emphasis on personal development and career progression and is committed to providing a structured development plan. The agency seeks candidates with:

  • 3+ years of Web Development experience (agency experience ideal).
  • Advanced skills in Craft CMS and PHP (essential).
  • Familiarity with Laravel, CSS, Tailwind, and Vue.JS (beneficial).
  • Strong communication skills for effective collaboration with teams and clients.
