Role Overview
The Associate Account Director will be the day-to-day lead on a key client account, focusing on driving results through innovative strategies across multiple social media platforms. This role is ideal for an experienced Senior Account Manager looking to step up into a leadership position with increased responsibility.
Key responsibilities include:
- Act as the primary point of contact for the client, supported by senior leadership, ensuring seamless communication and strong relationships.
- Develop and implement social strategies across platforms such as YouTube, TikTok, Meta, and X, driving KPIs including app downloads, subscriptions, and branding.
- Collaborate with the team to pitch creative ideas, such as documentary concepts and YouTube content, securing client buy-in.
- Review cross-platform performance data, providing actionable insights and strategic recommendations.
- Oversee paid social campaigns, working closely with the performance team to ensure optimal results.
- Contribute to ad-hoc tasks as needed, maintaining a flexible, can-do attitude.
- Spot opportunities to expand client engagement, pitching additional projects and services.
Skills & Experience
- Agency or client-side experience, preferably with sports or entertainment clients.
- Strong knowledge of platform features, trends, updates, and the ability to analyse and report on campaign performance.
- A proven ability to generate creative ideas while staying organised in a fast-paced environment.
- Confidence in presenting to senior stakeholders and managing client relationships effectively.
- A collaborative mindset, free of egos, and a passion for working in a start-up environment.
- Willingness to work evenings and weekends for events, with time off in lieu.
- A hunger to learn, grow, and take on increased responsibility.
