Location: London, UK (Hybrid: 3 days in office)
Salary: £50,000 – £60,000 + bonus & commission

Role & Responsibilities
They’re looking for a London-based French-speaking Account Director to lead social strategy and local delivery for a major global brand in the French market. You’ll be the key contact for clients in France, working in French, and overseeing localised social-first content delivery via a network of freelancers.
This is a high-profile account that spans B2C and B2B, working across always-on, reactive, and campaign content. The French market is a growth priority and needs someone with gravitas, strong social instincts, and the ability to guide both clients and internal teams.
- Own the relationship with key French stakeholders, helping shape briefs and deliver world-class social content.
- Manage a network of freelancers in France to ensure high-quality, market-relevant content, grounded in local insights.
- Lead a cross-functional internal team (strategy, creative, production) while supporting and developing junior team members.
- Monitor scopes, budgets, and resourcing needs. Drive incremental growth and new work within your account.
- Align with the wider European team to maintain consistency across markets while tailoring work to the French audience.
- Monthly trips to Paris to work closely with clients and the delivery team on the ground.
Skills & Experience
- Native-level French speaker based in London (fluent in English too)
- 4+ years in a client services role within a creative or social agency
- Deep understanding of social media strategy and execution
- Proven leadership across large accounts and multi-functional teams
- Commercial acumen with experience managing scopes, budgets, and upsell opportunities
- Confident presenting, leading meetings, and influencing senior clients
- Comfortable in a fast-paced environment, particularly around campaign periods
- Willing to travel regularly to France
