About the company

Due to continued successes and growth, the business is looking for a Technical Paid Search Manager to advance the technical sophistication of Paid Search accounts, customising solutions to client needs.

While based out of their trendy Shoreditch based office in the heart of London, flexible working is offered in terms of what hours you work and where you work.

You will be provided an annual budget to spend on outsourcing the work that takes up too much of your time and frees you up to focus on what you enjoy, whether that’s passing your experience on to junior members of your team or working on new business pitches.

 

Technical Paid Search Manager Role & Responsibilities

As the Technical Paid Search Manager, you will manage the Paid Media strategy of industry-dominating clients. With a flat company structure, you will work alongside, not be micromanaged by, the SEO Directors. Additionally, your role will include:

  • Owning an exciting portfolio of clients and being responsible for the entire campaign pipeline: from planning to launch, continual optimisation, and reporting on results with recommendations for future projects.
  • Working with the Paid Search Director and fellow Paid Search Managers to create training programmes for new team members and the wider agency.
  • Helping support the training and development of the Paid Search Executives, who in turn support YOU, in the execution of your Paid Search strategies.
  • Being comfortable leading on client communication, developing and maintaining client relationships of existing and new client accounts.
  • Working on business development opportunities with upselling and cross-selling to Programmatic, Social, SEO and Web Development departments when applicable.
  • Supporting the ongoing development of best practice processes on your new accounts, managing the day to day, and reporting back to clients.

 

Your Skills & Experience

Ideally you will have an advanced working knowledge of both SA360 and Google Ads. As you join a fast-growing independent agency there is the opportunity for swift progression. The company does however ask that you have:

  • 2+ years of Technical Paid Search Experience, with either experience in, or the desire to learn team and account management*.
  • A strong sense of self-motivations and drive with a proactive approach to solving issues as and before they appear.
  • Strong experience in all the basics of Excel: pivot tables, vlookups, modelling and basic competency in SQL. Ideally you will also have experience in building automated dashboards.
  • A mathematical and analytical mindset. That you have strong experience using large datasets to drive action-oriented analysis, with experience using SA360 as part of the larger Google Marketing Platform stack.
  • A solid knowledge of Google Ads scripts and automation rules, the essentials for any technical paid search manager.

*Previous Technical Paid Search Experience may have been as a Technical Paid Search Executive, Paid Search Manager, Paid Search Executive, Technical Paid Media Executive, Technical Paid Media Manager, Technical Paid Media Account Executive or something similar.
