Salary: £40,000 – £45,000 + Discretionary Bonus

The Company

Herd Digital is working with an international giant in the music and tech industry, who due to their continued success and growth, are looking for an SEO Manager. The company is looking for an ambitious SEO who is keen to progress within the role, and flex their SEO expertise on an international level.

 

SEO Manager Role & Responsibilities

Reporting to the Senior Growth Manager, your main responsibilities will include overseeing and leasing the implementation of the businesses SEO strategy, driving organic traffic and revenue. Additionally, you will:

  • Executing the SEO strategy for new markets, using market research and your Digital PR skills to research new opportunities for organic growth.
  • Take ownership of keyword research and analysis, as well as implementing and reporting on this organic research.
  • Performing content analysis on our own site as well as regularly auditing competitors to identify SEO content strategy opportunities.
  • Producing technical audits and recommendations to ensure crawling and indexing.
  • Work closely with other departments on SEO strategy, to ensure organic targets are met throughout the business.

 

Your Skills and Experience

The company is committed to the development of its team through individually tailored internal training, but does ask that you have:

  • 3+ years of hands-on experience in SEO*.
  • Experience working on global SEO is desirable.
  • Demonstrable track record of growth through organic SEO, including on-site, off site, and technical SEO, as well as experience in Digital PR or SEO outreach.
  • Experience with Analytics tools, Google Search Console, Google Analytics, SEMrush etc.
  • Being comfortable implementing simultaneous, successful SEO campaigns across a variety of verticals.
  • Running A/B tests to routinely optimise SEO efforts and create meaningful insights from these observations.

*Experience in SEO management in a previous role may have been as an SEO Account Manager, Digital Marketing Manager, SEO Executive,  Digital PR Manager, Digital PR Executive, Content Marketing Manager, or something similar.
