SEO Copywriter

Location: Remote, Must be based in the UK

Salary: Paying up to £30,000

SEO Copywriter Role and Responsibilities

As the agency’s new SEO Copywriter, you will deliver keyword strategy driven content for the agency’s clients. You will have the full support of your SEO Manager to learn and develop your SEO and content writing skills. Your day-to-day responsibilities will include:

• Conduct keyword research to identify relevant search terms for clients’ websites as you optimise content.
• Create engaging, quality content that aligns with SEO best practices, such as keyword optimisation, EEAT, and linking.
• Implement on-page SEO strategies such as meta tags, headers, internal linking etc.
• Create reports for clients using the likes of Google Analytics, Search Console, SEMrush, Ahrefs etc.
• Communicate regularly with clients to build strong relationships and keep them updated on campaign performance.

Your Skills and Experience

The business will support you to grow and develop, with internal training from our team of SEO experts and the opportunity to progress in your career into either an SEO Manager or Content Writing Manager. The business does ask that you have:

• 6 months+ of SEO experience (Ideally 1 year+), preferably in an agency setting.
• Knowledge of the principles of SEO: Keyword research, metadata, content optimisation etc.
• Experience working with typical SEO tools such as SEMrush, Ahrefs, Google Analytics, Google Search Console, Screaming Frog etc.
• Experience working with Microsoft Office – Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, Word etc.
• Communications skills, as you work closely with other teams in the business and with clients.
