SEO Account Manager

Location: Bedfordshire – Hybrid and Flexible Working

Salary: £32,000 – £38,000 + Bonus

SEO Account Manager Role and Responsibilities

As the businesses new SEO Account Manager, you will manage a small portfolio of brands, while you contribute to the wider SEO strategy of the agency. Your day-to-day responsibilities will include:

• Handle delivery of SEO strategy across the brands you work on.
• Conduct keyword research to identify relevant search terms for clients’ websites.
• Contribute to SEO strategy creation that aligns with SEO best practices, such as keyword optimisation, EEAT, and linking etc.
• Implement on-page SEO strategies such as meta tags, headers, internal linking etc.
• Create reports for clients using the likes of Google Analytics, Search Console, SEMrush, Ahrefs etc.
• Work alongside the Technical SEO Specialist(s) on in-depth technical optimisations.
• Communicate regularly with clients to build strong relationships and keep them updated on campaign performance.

Your Skills and Experience

The business will support you to grow and develop, with internal training, an individual training budget, and take pride in offering an inclusive and welcoming work culture. The business does ask that you have:

• 2+ Year of SEO experience, with a rounded SEO knowledge across all 3 SEO pillars.
• Knowledge of the principles of SEO: Keyword research, metadata, content optimisation etc.
• Experience working with typical SEO tools such as SEMrush, Ahrefs, Google Analytics, Google Search Console, Screaming Frog etc.
• Previous experience of working in an agency environment.
• Communication and client management skills, as you work closely with other teams within the agency and with clients.
• A degree in a relevant field such as English, Journalism, Digital Marketing etc. is ideal, but not essential.
