SEO Account Manager

Location: London

Reporting to: SEO Account Director

 

A multi award-winning agency in London is seeking an SEO account manager who will be responsible for the oversight of SEO client accounts. Your main focus will be on performance, communication and coordination between clients and the wider SEO team. You’ll take responsibility for the overall direction of the campaign, properly allocating resources in a way that meets the client’s business goals.

The “bigger picture” is important here, so you’ll work closely with SEO strategy, content, technical and digital PR in order to ensure the optimal mix of expertise is placed on each campaign to drive its success.

As SEO account manager, you’ll be expected to set an example to junior team members when it comes to approach and quality of work, as well as to assist in their training.

 

THE SEO ACCOUNT MANAGER ROLE:

  • Ensure all work delivered contributes to the client’s overall business aim
  • Be a point of contact for SEO clients and client servicing on accounts
  • Lead communications with clients and report on their campaign activity during calls/meetings
  • Schedule work, using SEO strategy and pillars, defining each strategy in alignment with priorities, workflows and task scoping
  • Make sure each client has both a roadmap and search landscaping document
  • Create reports and forecasts for clients to meet pre-defined reporting schedule
  • Sign off all work outputs and monitor performance
  • Work with other teams to maximise quality of delivery

 

ABOUT YOU:

  • You have at least 2 years’ SEO experience
  • Ideally, you have some agency experience
  • You’re confident communicating and presenting to clients
  • You’re a great relationship builder
  • You’re organised and can manage multiple projects at once, ensuring you meet deadlines
  • You have experience putting together successful SEO roadmaps
  • Strong MS Office skills
