About the Company

Due to growth within the agency and new client acquisitions, the agency is looking for an SEO Account Manager to take ownership of SEO accounts. The agency is flexible whether you are an experienced SEO Account Manager or stepping into management: As you will be supported in your new role by the SEO Director.

The business works in a hybrid environment from their Manchester office, with opportunities to work-from-home on the days that you and your team choose. There is also flexibility around working hours, as the business is eager to accommodate your individual needs.

The business works with a mix of large client accounts, and smaller clients and businesses, and your work will be split across both.

 

SEO Account Manager Role & Responsibilities

As SEO Account Manager you will work with the SEO Director across and manage a small portfolio of clients and manage a small team of SEO Executives. Additionally, your role will include:

  • Work with SEO Director on SEO strategy and planning.
  • Conducting in depth keyword research, competitor analysis, content gap analysis, and client market analysis to identify SEO opportunities.
  • Manage a small ream of SEO Executives.
  • Some involvement in the support for new business pitches, as you assist the SEO Director in preparation of materials for pitches to existing and potential clients.
  • Using data analysis and analytics tools to create detailed and comprehensive reports on the results of campaigns, for both internal and external use.

 

Your Skills & Experience

You will be supported to grow and develop, with a progression plan to take you to an SEO Director position in the future. The business does ask that you have:

  • 2+ years of hands-on SEO experience in an agency environment.
  • A strong understanding of both content and technical SEO.
  • Experience delivering SEO campaigns, strategies, and roadmaps to clients.
  • The desire and ability to continue to learn and develop new skills.
  • Experience of creating detailed and comprehensive reports for clients, using data analysis and analytics tools.
  • Experience with the usual SEO tools: Google Analytics, Google Search Console, SEMrush, Ahrefs, Screaming Frog.
  • Intermediate Excel skills.
