Job Title: SEO Account Manager

Location: London/ Hybrid (1 day a week in the office)

Salary: £30,000 – £40,000 + Discretional Performance Bonus


About the Company

Due to exciting new client acquisition, an award-winning, independent digital creative agency based in the heart of London are looking for an experienced SEO Manager to join their team. The business is looking for an SEO Account Manager to take control of the new client accounts, while remaining hands-on with SEO strategy and implementation.

The agency offers hybrid, flexible and remote working options with only one day per week necessary, in the brand-new office. But even this will become flexible as you demonstrate your expertise in what you do.

SEO is at the heart of what the agency does, and you will receive the full support you need to be successful in your role, and progress to a Senior SEO Account Manager position.


SEO Account Manager Role & Responsibilities

As SEO Account Manager your primarily responsibility will be working closely with clients on SEO campaigns, generating content ideas and working with content teams. Additionally, your role will include:

  • Working on multiple, simultaneous client campaigns.
  • Create client reports, analysing the effectiveness of SEO efforts and optimising where necessary.
  • Working on end-to-end SEO campaigns, with the opportunity to gain experience in technical SEO and link-building.
  • Working closely with Senior Account Managers to optimise offerings and SEO strategy.
  • In-depth keyword research and analysis: Making executive decisions on keyword strategy.
  • Liaising with Web Development and Content teams to support you in your work.
  • Working with Senior Managers and Directors on account strategy and client relationship management.


Skills and Experience

The company is committed to your development, and offers a clear progression plans as you work towards a Senior SEO Account Manager position. The business does ask that you have:

  • 3+ years of hands-on experience with SEO.
  • Experience in an agency background is ideal, but not essential.
  • Client relationship management experience.
  • Rounded SEO experience is ideal, but if you are a Technical SEO Specialist, we would still love to hear from you.
  • Being comfortable implementing simultaneous, successful SEO campaigns across a variety of verticals.
  • Experience with data and analytics tools: Google Analytics, Google Search Console, Screaming Frogs, AhRefs etc.
  • A passion for SEO, with the desire to continue your own learning and develop your skills.
