Job Title: SEO Account Manager

Location: Remote, UK based – You must be based in the UK for regular travel to the London office

Salary: £35,000 – £42,000

About The Company

Due to continued successes and exciting growth plans, a global digital marketing agency is looking for an SEO Account Manager to join their London based offices on a hybrid basis, with only 1 day a week needed in the office.

The business works with a variety of clients, that you will have the opportunity to work on: from some of the biggest, industry dominating eCommerce and retail brands, to charity and finance.

You will also have the opportunity to work hybrid with the possibility of remote. You must be based in the IUK for travel to the London office. Despite the flexible working opportunities, the agency maintains a strong company culture with regularly company meet ups, seasonal parties, and holiday incentives.

The agency also has a keen focus on the learning and development of its team. You will be supported to progress to Senior Account Manager and Account Director positions, and promotions are based on performance, not purely years of experience, meaning you have the opportunity to progress quickly If you have the drive and passion to do so.

 

SEO Account Manager Role & Responsibilities

As SEO Manager, you will have the opportunity to take the lead across multiple client accounts. Additionally, your role will include:

  • Work closely with the Account Director to create and contribute to SEO strategy and increase client growth.
  • Manage the optimisation of ongoing client campaigns, ensuring deadlines and KPIs are met.
  • Providing support to junior SEOs and delegating accordingly.
  • Stay up to date with platform and industry changes, updating strategies in line with your analysis and observations.
  • Conducting a range of technical SEO tasks such as: Full technical audits, website crawls, page indexing, core web vitals tests and solutions, on-page optimisations and more.

 

Your Skills & Experience

You will be supported to work how is best for you as you continue your own professional development. The company does ask that you have:

  • Minimum of 2 years of SEO experience.
  • Rounded SEO Knowledge, with a focus on, and confidence in, technical SEO.
  • Confidence in a client facing environment.
  • Experience working with eCommerce clients is ideal, but not essential.
  • Experience with the Google suits: Google Analytics, Google Search Console, Google Tag Manager, Data Studio etc.
  • SEO tool experience: AhRefs, SEMrush, Screaming Frog etc.
  • Experience with HTML and CSS/ JavaScript is ideal but not essential.
