Location: London – Hybrid (2-3 Days in the Office)

Salary: £50,000 – £60,000 + Bonus

Due to continued successes and new client acquisitions, an award-winning, independent agency is looking for a SEO Account Director to join their London office in a hybrid and flexible working environment, with flexible core working hours suited to your individual needs.

SEO Account Director Role & Responsibilities

As the SEO Account Director, you will take leadership of the SEO strategy of industry-dominating clients, working directly with clients and supporting the Organic Director on new business efforts. Additionally, your role will include:

  • Lead on overall SEO client direction, and departmental strategy.
  • Work directly with clients on revenue targets and collaborating with delivery teams on strategy and execution on how to meet these targets.
  • Support and manage the SEO Account Managers of the SEO team, whilst you report to the Organic Director on departmental performance.
  • Being comfortable leading on client communications and creating and executing strategies on several key accounts that you will have ownership of.
  • Supporting senior leadership on new business development opportunities.
  • Still remaining hands-on with strategy and activation when necessary.
  • Producing regular reports for clients, including insights from results on moving forward.
  • Staying up to date on latest SEO tech, updates and industry, and filtering down this knowledge to the junior members of your team.

 

Your Skills & Experience

The agency will support you to work how is best for you, with the flexibility you need. The business does ask that you have:

  • 4+ years of hands-on, well-rounded SEO Experience in an agency.
  • Experience with eCommerce or luxury clients is a massive plus.
  • In-depth experience in creating and developing SEO strategies.
  • Strong experience working closely with clients, to better understand their needs and get the best results.
  • Experienced directly managing a team of 2+ SEOs.
  • Experience with pitching and upselling new and existing business.
