SEO Account Director

Location: London/ Hybrid

Salary: £45,000 – £55,000 + Performance Bonus and Commission Structure

About the Company

Due to continued successes and growth, the business is looking for a SEO Account Director to take the lead on some of their most prestigious client accounts. As SEO Account Director you will work out of the businesses London or Shrewsbury office, in a hybrid and flexible working environment.

SEO Account Director Role & Responsibilities

As SEO Account Director, your responsibilities will include taking ownership of a number of key client accounts and continuing the growth and development of their team. Additionally, you will:

  • Work alongside the Head of SEO to formulate and execute results driven SEO strategies.
  • Working on senior client accounts, with a variety of eCommerce and Lead Generation.
  • Deliver and execute road maps, project plans and forecasts for clients to demonstrate the value and potential of the company’s services.
  • Overseeing the work of your small team of SEO Managers and Executives.
  • Being the main point of contacts for all things SEO (although Client Services handle the majority of admin heavy work, client communications and pushbacks, leaving you more time to focus on your work).
  • Still being proactive in your work and taking a hands-on approach to providing clients with the highest level of SEO service.


Skills and Experience

The company is committed to the personal development of its team with individually tailored, internal and external training to support you as you work in a structured career progression plan to a Head of SEO position. However, the business does ask that you have:

  • 4+ years of hands-on experience in SEO*.
  • Confidence in building and developing relationships with clients and understanding best how to meet their SEO needs.
  • Well-rounded SEO skills, technical SEO, on-page, content creation and link building.
  • Analytical mindset and experience with Excel and Analytics tools.
  • Experience managing SEO teams (desirable).
  • Agency experience (desirable).
