About the Company

Due to continued successes and growth, the business is looking for a Senior Technical SEO Consultant to implement technical SEO strategies, and to assist clients with a wide variety of technical SEO tasks.

You will have the opportunity to work closely with the Head of Technical SEO, managing a handful of client accounts and stakeholders as you work towards an SEO Director position. Senior Technical SEO Consultant Role & Responsibilities

As Senior Technical SEO Consultant your work will provide the full range SEO support to the wider technical SEO team while delivering a high quality of service to senior clients. Additionally, your role will encompass:

• Lead and manage the Technical SEO team, while providing support to the Head of Technical SEO.
• Take the lead on scope of technical SEO projects.
• Lead on new business acquisition and pitches, with the opportunity to earn commission.
• Identify technical SEO issues and providing analysis and solutions to developers.
• Work closely with pre-existing clients as well as onboarding new clients to the business.
• Take charge of the development of your own personal knowledge, and filtering that down to the junior members of the technical SEO team.
• Assist with creation of documentation for developers, to implement your technical solutions.

Your Skills & Experience

You will be supported by the SEO Director as you progress and grow within the role, but are expected to have:

• 5+ years previous experience working with SEO or Technical SEO.
• Previous experience working in an agency is ideal, but not essential.
• Strong previous knowledge of Technical SEO on Core Web Vitals, Page Speed etc.
• Previous experience managing executives.
• Strong communication skills.
• A passion for improving websites and in user experience.
• A motivated and analytical mindset, using data and analytics to inform decision making in a fast-paced environment.
• An understanding of how to then implement these SEO recommendations garnered from your evaluation of data.
• Strong Microsoft or Gsuite skills: Excel, Word, PowerPoint etc.
• Knowledge of HTML, CSS, JavaScript & CMS systems is desirable.
