About the Company

Due to exciting new client and business acquisitions, a start-up digital marketing agency is looking for a Senior SEO Account Manager to join the business and take the lead on a variety of client accounts. As you join the business you will work closely with the agencies exciting client accounts, support the junior members of the SEO team, and develop the agencies SEO strategies.

Senior SEO Account Manager Role and Responsibilities

As the Senior SEO Account Manager, you will oversee and support the junior members of the SEO team, while working in a 360-account management role. Your day-to-day responsibilities will include:

  • Take the lead on multiple client accounts with the support of your SEO Account Director.
  • Building out and managing these client relationships, to ensure long-lasting partnerships and account growth where possible.
  • Line management of SEO Executives in your team, delegating and reviewing work.
  • Conducting the full-range of technical SEO tasks: Technical Audits, Website Crawls, Indexing, Core Web Vitals, On-page optimisations etc.
  • Reporting on SEO campaigns to senior SEO team and clients.
  • Still remaining hands on with SEO optimisations as you progress into a strategy role.
  • Supporting the junior members of the SEO team.

 

Skills and Experience

Your professional development will be an active focus for the business, as you are given a personal development plan to support your progression to an SEO Director position. The agency does ask that you have:

  • 3+ years of rounded SEO agency experience.
  • Experience working across content, technical, on-page, and off-page SEO.
  • Agency experience is essential for this position, as it is heavily client-facing.
  • Experience with the usual SEO tools: SEMrush, Google Analytics, Screaming Frog, WordPress etc.
  • Confidence in communicating, managing, and working with clients of a variety of seniority.
  • Experience with the usual SEO tools: SEMrush, Google Analytics, Screaming Frog, WordPress, Shopify, etc.
  • A passion for SEO, with an eagerness to continue your learning.
