Salary: £35,000 – £45,000

Herd Digital is working with an award-winning, independent digital agency who are looking for their newest Senior SEO Account Manager to work as the main point of SEO contact for clients. The business has over 20 years of experience in delivering high-end digital marketing campaigns and strategies to their clients and have stayed at the forefront of innovations by continually investing in their SEO teams.

As one of the agencies most profitable channels, the SEO department receives huge investments in the business in terms of platforms, software and training. Senior SEO Account Manager Job Responsibilities

As Senior SEO Account Manager your responsibilities will include taking ownership of the overall SEO strategy on the client accounts you work on. Additionally, you will:

  • Work alongside the SEO Account Directors to formulate and execute results driven SEO strategies.
  • Deliver and execute road maps, project plans and forecasts for clients to demonstrate the value and potential of the company’s services.
  • Being the main point of contacts for all things SEO (although Client Services handle the majority of admin heavy work, leaving you more time to focus on your work).
  • Still being hands-on to provide clients with the highest level of SEO service.

As you progress within the role you will have the opportunity to learn and gain experience in:

  • Team and line management, using your skills and experience to grow the SEO team underneath you.
  • Pitching new business to existing and new client opportunities.


Skills and Experience

The company is committed to your personal development whether that’s through individually tailored, internal or external. The business does ask that you have:

  • 3+ years of hands-on experience in SEO.
  • Account management experience, being confident in working closely with clients.
  • Well-rounded SEO skills; technical SEO, on-page, content creation and link building.
  • Experience managing SEO teams is desirable.
