Salary: €50,000 – €60,000 + Bonus.

Languages: B2-Level German as a minimum.

 

The Company

A leading, independent performance agency is looking for a Programmatic Manager to join their Performance Marketing team based in Stuttgart. Although the agency has offices throughout Germany, giving real flexibility for relocation or travelling within Germany. This role is offering hybrid/remote work with flexible working hours, supporting you to work however is best for you.

The agency is part of one of the largest networks of companies and agencies in Germany. This means you will still be able to enjoy being part of a close knit, independent agency, while having the support and resources of a larger network agency. The agency still operates in a flat hierarchy, with the Managing Director still being involved in the team and always available.

Programmatic Manager Role and Responsibilities

As Programmatic Manager you will be overall responsible for managing programmatic campaigns and strategy for a variety of senior client accounts. Your day-to-day responsibilities will include:

  • Negotiate ad space and rates with publishers and as networks: Maximising campaign reach and effectiveness while minimising ad spend.
  • Overall campaign management of Programmatic campaigns for multiiple client accounts, from creation and execution, to reporting and optimisation.
  • Working on 6-digit figure budgets per month.
  • Set-up and optimisation of programmatic ad campaigns across various platforms, the likes of: Adform, Active Agent, DV360, Zemanta, Taboola, and Outbrain.
  • Monitor programmatic campaign performance to make decision influenced by data. Using these DSPs to improve ad targeting, bid strategy and creative optimisations.
  • Collaborate with the Paid Social and creative teams to align creative with campaign objectives.

 

Your Experience & Skills

You will have an individually tailored progression plan and an individual development budget along with regular one-to-one meetings with your manager to support your continuing development. The agency does, however, ask that you roughly fit the following criteria:

  • 3+ years of experience of Programmatic experience.
  • German native speaking or B2 level.
  • Strong communication skills, as you work closely with internal teams across Germany and with key stakeholders and clients.
  • Experience managing monthly budgets of at least €100,000.
  • A strong background in branding marketing or performance marketing.
  • Knowledge of multiples DSPs. For example, DV360, Active Agent, Zemanta, Outbrain and Taboola.
  • Experience working across multiple client accounts.
