The Company

A leading, Creator driven, full service Social Media Agency with offices in Berlin and throughout Germany is looking for a Paid Social Ads Lead to join them in creating creative full funnel marketing campaigns and leading a small team of experts.

This is a completely remote working opportunity. You must however be based in Germany and speak German to a C1 level or above to be considered.

The business prides itself on a collaborative and creative environment, being the first to test and try new things, creating their own shows and awards. Combining performance, creative, organic social, influencer marketing and production, and being at the forefront of the latest technology, building their own software and social listening tools, this agency has been paving the way for almost a decade.

With big but sustainable growth plans over the next couple of years, the company is offering a generous development budget and is working on some of the biggest clients around, such as TikTok, Kelloggs, Bauhouse, Storck, Telefonica (o2), Beiersdorf, Aldi and more. They are a profitable agency of over 100 people that has just received funding from an investor adding to their stability and growth.

 

Senior Data Analyst Role and Responsibilities

As a Senior Data Analyst your primary responsibility will analyse various social media metrics, generating insights from campaign data, and crafting tailored reports and captivating presentations for project managers, clients, and senior management on the subject of data. Your day-to-day responsibilities will include:

  • Collect data on audience behaviour and advertising performance.
  • Clean and organise the data for analysis.
  • Analyse the data to find patterns and insights.
  • Create reports and visualizations to share findings.
  • Monitor ongoing campaigns and adjusts strategies for better results.
  • Uses data to predict future trends and outcomes.
  • Take strategic ownership and have a more holistic view for the future of the data department.
  • Build the Data team with support from the CTO, and naturally progress to a Team Lead.
  • Manage upwards, translating the business goals and C-Level ideas into manageable and realistic strategies and targets.

As you progress within your role, over the next 12-18 months you will also be in charge of building the data team from scratch, implementing process’, best practices, and be in charge of new hires.

 

Your Experience & Skills

You will have an individually tailored progression plan and an individual development budget along with regular one-to-one meetings with the CTO, a buddy system to help with the onboarding, and knowledge share via an affiliation with MasterPlan. The agency does, however, ask that you roughly fit the following criteria:

  • Speak German to C1 level and above.
  • 3+ years of professional experience as a data analyst or a similar position and have technical expertise in data models, database design and development, and data analysis.
  • That you are familiar with NoSQL databases (such as MongoDB) and can easily use Excel or Google Sheets.
  • Strong analytical skills and can also organize and analyse large amounts of information.
  • Highly motivated and willing to learn.
  • Structured and ability to multitask.
  • Strong communication skills to manage internal and external stakeholders.
