Location: London/ Hybrid

Salary: £43,000 – £48,000 + Discretional Bonuses

About the Company

Due to continued success and growth and new client acquisitions, a fast-growing, independent digital agency are looking for a Senior Data Analyst to join their team based in Central London.

The agency offer hybrid and flexible working, with only two days in the office a week. And also offers a 4.5-day work week, with every other Friday off.

The agency operates in a flat structure, with no hierarchy within the business with even the MD being hands-on with activation while bringing on new business.

The business has a huge focus on acting as true partners to the clients they work with, building strong working relationships, meeting clients face-to-face regularly, and allowing them to deliver a high-quality service that meets client’s business needs.

 

Senior Data Analyst Role & Responsibilities

As Senior Data Analyst you will be instrumental in the data analysis of client accounts, identifying areas of optimisation, opportunity, and issues. Additionally, your role will involve:

  • Work in depth with Google Tag Manager across agency ecommerce websites.
  • Deploy Google Analytics 4 ensuring all events and relevant tracking.
  • Deploy Google Ads, Bing UET tags, Facebook CAPI, Pinterest Pixels and TikTok pixels across agency ecommerce websites.
  • Identify issues and opportunities within ecommerce checkout processes to enhance ads performance overall.
  • Analyse client’s brand’s website data and proposed the next steps and phases to accelerate ads performance using data informed decisions.
  • Create self-serve reporting dashboards using tools such as Google Analytics and Looker studio using Supermetrics.
  • Work directly with the Account Managers of the accounts you work on – This role doesn’t require any client management.
  • Optimise tracking and tagging plans from GTM and optimise customer journeys.

 

Your Skills & Experience

The agency will support you to learn and develop, offering internal and external training to help you to progress in your career. The business does ask that you have:

  • 3+ Years of Data Analysis experience.
  • Proficiency working with Google Tag Manager and GA4.
  • Strong analytical experience working with large data sets in the likes of digital/web/eCommerce/marketing etc.
  • Proven track record of working with SQL and BigQuery.
  • Be motivated and results driven, using analytics to inform decision making in a fast-paced environment.
  • Ability to build insightful visualisations and dashboards using tools such as Looker, Tableau, Power BI etc.
  • Experience working in an agency environment is ideal, but not essential.
