Location: Berlin, Hybrid (1 day a week in office minimum).

Salary: €65,000 – €80,000.

The Company

A leading, Creator driven, full service Social Media Agency with offices in Berlin and throughout Germany is looking for a Senior Data Analyst to join them in leading strategic data analysis for campaigns across various social media platforms.

The business offers very hybrid and flexible working, with a minimum of one day a week in the office.

The business prides itself on a collaborative and creative environment, being the first to test and try new things, creating their own shows and awards. Combining performance, creative, organic social, influencer marketing and production, and being at the forefront of the latest technology, building their own software and social listening tools, this agency has been paving the way for almost a decade.

With big but sustainable growth plans over the next couple of years, the company is offering a generous development budget and is working on some of the biggest clients around, such as TikTok, Kellogg’s, Telefonica, Beiersdorf, and more. They are a profitable agency of over 150 people that has just received funding from an investor adding to their stability and growth.

 

Senior Data Analyst Role and Responsibilities

As a Senior Data Analyst your primary responsibility will analyse various social media metrics, generating insights from campaign data, and crafting tailored reports and captivating presentations for project managers, clients, and senior management on the subject of data. Your day-to-day responsibilities will include:

  • Standardised reporting across the agency by working with different teams to create dashboards or reports for clients, and create bespoke reports on an ad hoc basis to inform strategy.
  • Think of interesting ways to use the data (possibly how it can be used to create new products with AI).
  • Communicate complex data solutions with internal and external teams concisely to non-technical people.
  • Analyse and interpret data to find actionable insights that will inform strategies for the creative teams.
  • Strategically develop the data team by enhancing structures, processes, and identifying future hiring needs. As you progress within your role, over the next 12-18 months you will also be in charge of building the data team from scratch, implementing process’, best practices, and be in charge of new hires.

 

Your Experience & Skills

You will have an individually tailored progression plan and an individual development budget along with regular one-to-one meetings with the Head of Product, a buddy system to help with the onboarding, and knowledge share via an affiliation with MasterPlan. The agency does, however, ask that you roughly fit the following criteria:

  • Fluent in German and English.
  • 3+ years of Data Analysis experience
  • Ability to work autonomously and handle tasks without supervision, with the confidence to create strategy and build a team.
  • Knowledge of NoSQL databases, Data Hosting tools, and experience Building dashboards.
  • Ability to interpret data and identify possibilities and implications, as well as what the data means.
  • Strong communication skills with the ability to explain data to non-experts and manage internal stakeholders.
