About the Company

An independent, full-service performance marketing agency based in central London, are looking for a Managing Director to lead the digital agency in long-term business strategy, drive business growth and ensure optimal performance across all digital teams within the agency.

Providing services across SEO, Digital PR, Paid Search and Paid Social, the agency has over 10 years of experience in delivering best-in-class digital marketing services. They’re now looking for a Managing Director to lead them in their growth plans: With goals to grow turnover from £2 million a year to £5 million.

The agency offers flexibility with hybrid and remote working, with freedom on when you go into the office and flexibility with working hours suited to individual needs.


Managing Director Role & Responsibilities

As Managing Director, you will be pivotal to defining the agency’s growth plans and business strategy. Your responsibilities will include:

  • Develop and execute comprehensive, long-term business strategies that achieve growth in new and existing markets.
  • Ensure core values and long-term objectives are upheld and aligned with business growth.
  • Oversee client relationships and client strategy, ensuring client satisfaction, retention, and account growth.
  • Drive the agency’s operational efficiencies, optimising processes, and individual team performances.
  • Staying up to date with any developments or emerging trends in the digital marketing industry, ensuring the agency stays ahead of the evolving digital landscape.
  • Representing the agency at industry events and conferences, building relationships with key vendors and the wider digital marketing community.


Your Skills & Experience

The agency offers any and all support that you need to lead and shape the future of one of the most successful, independent agencies in London. The business does ask, however, that you have:

  • Proven experience in senior leadership positions with a digital agency.
  • A strong understanding of the wide range of digital marketing practices, such as SEO and Content Marketing, Paid Advertising, Web Development etc.
  • Strong business strategy skills, with experience of growing a business’s client base, size, and overall revenue.
  • Experience in developing and implementing strategic growth plans on an agency-wide scale.
  • Excellent communication and leadership skills, with a track record of leading high-performing digital teams.
  • Demonstrable experience in building and developing client relationships with important client accounts.
