Location: East London/ Hybrid

Salary: £45,000 – £60,000

About the company

Due to exciting new client and business acquisitions, the agency is looking for a Head of SEO to take charge of the agencies SEO efforts both internally and externally. You will work closely with existing clients, acquire new business, and develop the businesses internal SEO strategies and offerings.

Head of SEO Role & Responsibilities

As Head of SEO your key responsibility will be developing the businesses overall SEO strategies and offering, while winning new business for the agency. Additionally, your role will include:

  • The line management and development of the wider SEO team.
  • Supporting the Manging Director on recruitment of SEO recruitment.
  • Develop the agencies onboarding process for new clients.
  • Managing the overall SEO strategy and organisation of senior/ key client campaigns.
  • Manage the training and development of the Content and Outreach team.
  • Be an all-round expert on on-page and off-page SEO: Link building, technical SEO, SEO audits etc.

 

Your Skills & Experience

The agency is committed to your continuing development and will offer you the freedom necessary to develop the team as you see fit. The agency does, however, ask that you have:

  • Extensive all-round SEO experience, covering technical and content SEO.
  • Confidence in working closely with clients on a regular basis.
  • Strong communication skills, with confidence in presenting and pitching.
  • Strong understanding of on-site SEO, SEO content and link building.
  • Strong technical SEO strategy and hands-on technical SEO skills.
  • Experience of working in an SEO agency in a leadership role.
  • In-depth experience with the suite of SEO and analytics tools such as Google Analytics, Google Search Console, AHrefs, SEMrush, Screaming Frog etc.
