A young German printing company specializing in crafting personalized artwork in Berlin is looking for a Head of Growth Marketing to take the lead on the businesses marketing efforts as they continue to grow and expand into new markets and expand their overall Marketing team.

The company delivers the highest quality artwork and gifts on an international scale, with a focus on sustainability by sourcing locally to ensure shorter transportation distances and reduce CO2 emissions.

The business offers hybrid working with only 2 days a week in the office with very flexible working hours: You can choose the hours your work, and work however is best for you. There is also no expectation for you to stay late or work longer hours.

Head of Growth Marketing Role & Responsibilities

As the new Head of Growth Marketing your work will be focused on the overall management of the businesses marketing efforts and marketing team. Your day-to-day responsibilities will include:

  • Day-to-day management or a wide range of marketing experts, specialising across: SEA, Social Media, Product, and Internationalisation and Localisation.
  • Initial set-up of Paid Social campaigns before this is handed off to an in-house expert who you will hire, ideally within your first 6-12 months.
  • Work closely with the C-Suite and Directors on marketing strategy, business objectives and how to use marketing to maximise revenue.
  • Analyse marketing data, providing regular reports and insight to the business’s Executives, highlighting the success of marketing efforts and areas for growth or improvement.
  • Optimisation of marketing strategies, based on data and statistical analysis, with feedback from the Managers and Team Leads who work to support you.
  • The continual mentorship and development of the marketing team, including testing and roll out of new channels and hiring for channel experts.

 

Your Experience & Skills

You will have the freedom to innovate how you see best, with the full backing of the business. The company does, however, ask that you have:

  • 5+ years’ experience in Performance Marketing from an ecommerce background, with experience in profitability and marketing strategy.
  • 1+ years’ experience in team management.
  • Fluent in German.
  • Previous hands-on experience in Paid Social, willing to remain hands on initially, and moving away from this as the team grows.
  • An in-depth knowledge of a variety of marketing tools and platforms.
  • Previous success in exploring new marketing channels and verticals, with a history of successfully impacting business growth.
  • Experience in data analysis and using data to make informed and profit drive decisions.
  • Strong communication and pitching skills, as you become involved in the future of the business and work closely with stakeholders.
