Location: Berlin, Germany – Hybrid and Flexible working hours.

Salary: €65,000 – €80,000

A young German printing company specializing in crafting personalized artwork in Berlin is looking for a Growth Marketing Team Lead to steer them into new areas of Digital Marketing. With particular focus on Paid Social Ads, your role will have a diverse and exciting range of responsibilities including company branding, upskilling, and managing a team, as well as searching for hires in new marketing channels to help improve their market positioning.

Growth Marketing Team Lead Role and Responsibilities

As a Growth Marketing Team Lead, your primary responsibility will be to manage and grow a multi-channel Marketing team, as well as operationally set up Paid Social channels before hiring an expert to take over. Your day-to-day responsibilities will include:

  • Day-to-day management of a team of marketing experts specializing in Paid Search (SEA), Social Media, Product, and Internationalisation.
  • Initial operational responsibility for setting up and optimizing Paid Social campaigns, while working towards hiring an expert to take over this aspect of the role.
  • Develop and implement cutting-edge marketing strategies across various platforms, ensuring effective use of budget and achieving key performance metrics.
  • Collaborate closely with the Directors to align marketing strategies with overall business objectives and maximize brand awareness, engagement, and revenue generation.
  • Continuously refine and improve marketing strategies based on data-driven insights and feedback from team members.
  • Mentor and develop team members, fostering a culture of creativity, collaboration, and innovation.

In this role, you will initially be hands-on in setting up Paid Social campaigns while actively hiring for an expert to take over this area. As the team grows, your responsibilities will shift towards focusing on strategic planning, guiding the team, and identifying new marketing channels for investment.

 

Your Experience & Skills

You will have an individually tailored progression plan and easy access to learning new skills and developing yourself, with an opportunity to grow your team once Paid Social is activated. The business does, however, ask that you roughly fit the following criteria:

  • Ideally, you will be fluent in English due to the company’s goal to further internationalise the brand, and speak German to a minimum B1 level
  • At least 1 year of experience in Team Management
  • At least 5 years in Performance Marketing with a good understanding of multiple channel strategies, ideally with operational Paid Social experience
  • In-depth knowledge of various marketing tools and platforms, with a focus on driving awareness and optimizing ROI.
  • Demonstrated success in introducing new marketing channels that resulted in significant business growth.
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to make data-driven decisions and effectively communicate insights to stakeholders.
