Graduate Recruitment Consultant (German Speaking)

Salary: £22,000 – £35,000 + Commission (On Target Earnings for Year 1: £35,000 – £40,000)

This role is focused on digital marketing recruitment in our German market, where you will work with our existing German digital marketing recruitment team to grow your own desk and support them in filling vacancies, as you learn the ins-and-outs of recruitment.

About the Graduate Recruitment Consultant Role

As Graduate Recruitment Consultant, you will join our existing team of Digital Marketing Recruitment Consultants operating in the German market and help to grow our presence and market as you learn from them. Meaning we do not require previous recruitment experience for this role, but you must be German speaking to a fluent or native level.

We offer training and support from your very first call, to building and maintaining ongoing relationships. We also provide training to help you understand digital marketing, so don’t worry if you don’t have a clue what Programmatic Advertising, we can help.

Your day-to-day responsibilities will include:

• Networking with Digital Marketing professionals, whilst researching and improving your sector knowledge.
• Interviewing candidates to understand what they’re looking for from their next role, and gain insights into your market.
• Provide advice on current state of the market, CV and interview techniques and manage candidate expectations.
• Be a part of the team, motivating one another and communicating effectively.

As you progress as a recruiter you will progress and receive training in:

• Prospecting for new business by communicating with hiring managers to understand their recruitment needs.
• Consulting and engaging with clients to understand their requirements and sell the most appropriate solution for attracting the right candidates.

Skills & Experience required for the Graduate Recruitment Consultant role

No previous recruitment experience is required as we are looking for hard-working people who are eager to learn. However, to be successful as a Graduate Recruitment Consultant you will be self-motivated, determined, and driven to succeed within your career. You will also:

• Be confident in communicating with both candidates, as well as professional organisations over the phone, email, and face to face.
• Be German speaking to a fluent or native level.
• Have a passion for communicating with different people, and the ability to work with people at all levels.
• Be hardworking. This is a job where the more you put in, the more you get out – including unlimited commission and holiday incentives for just doing your job!
• Be diligent and detailed in your work; cutting corners is not for you.
• Be organised and self-sufficient, to stay on top of your own workload.
