Salary: €55,000 – €65,000 dependent on experience

The Digital Marketing Manager role

A multinational pharmaceutical and cosmetics company with over 7,000 employees worldwide are expanding their digital strategy. They are now searching for the best in-class digital marketing generalist to play a central role within the digital marketing ecosystem for all brands. The ideal candidate is a team player, driven by KPIs, an analytical mindset, and is always one step ahead of the latest market trends.

 

Responsibilities

  • Managing SEO and SEA strategy in close collaboration with the SEM agencies and HQ
  • Strong focus on mobile performance, content creation, and conversion
  • High focus on performance measurement and KPIs
  • Monitoring and optimizing onsite, offsite, and technical SEO
  • Analyzing website performance and deriving recommendations and optimization potentials
  • Ensuring optimal visibility on search engines by close interaction of SEO and SEA
  • Introducing new formats such as Google Shopping with Partners and local ads into the ecosystem
  • Close collaboration with the digital marketing managers to ensure a smooth and seamless integration of the website in each paid and non-paid activity (e.g. precision marketing campaigns, newsletter, product tests)
  • Consulting digital campaign managers on event and goal setting on the website and ensuring a consistent tracking of all activities leading to the website (e.g. UTM parameters)
  • Identifying new growth opportunities and pursuing them to meet business goals
  • Identify and share trends and insights with stakeholders and with the entire company
  • Actively contribute to ongoing process and performance improvement initiatives

 

Skills / Experience for the Digital Marketing Manager

  • 4+ years practical experience in a leading consulting, e-commerce, or marketing company (Cosmetics or fashion industry is a plus)
  • Fluent in German & English
  • You know how to set up, monitor, optimize and analyze successful SEO and SEA strategies for websites
  • Excellent knowledge of all relevant tools including Google Analytics, Google Tag Manager, Google Search Console, Google Trends, Keyword Tools, Searchmetrics, Similar Web, etc.
  • You have very strong analytical skills
  • You have a performance-driven mindset with an ability to work and communicate in a fast-paced environment
  • You know which KPIs are relevant for your clients
  • Willing to travel occasionally
