Salary: £38,000 – £50,000 + Bonus

Content Manager Role and Responsibilities

As the businesses new Content Manager, you will operate in a 360-account management position, working to deliver comprehensive content campaigns for clients, lead the team of Content Executives, and lead on content strategy. Your day-to-day responsibilities will include:

  • Acting as the main point of contact for senior stakeholders and clients to achieve strategic delivery that meets client needs.
  • Lead and manage the content team, while working with other teams within the business as needed.
  • Plan, forecast, and roadmap campaigns for clients.
  • Manage the full process including deadlines and KPIs are achieved, within budget, and quality is maintained.
  • Support the Head of Content on new business pitches and acquisition.
  • Grow and develop your existing client portfolio where possible.


Your Skills and Experience

The business will support you to continue to grow and develop, with the opportunity to progress in your career to a Head of Content position as the agency grows. The business does ask that you have:

  • Previous experience in a Content Manager position, where you created and managed content campaigns for clients.
  • 3+ years of content management experience.
  • Demonstrable experience directly managing a team of Content Executives or Copywriters.
  • Experience with client management and relationship management.
  • Knowledge and understanding of content SEO is ideal.
  • Strong leadership, organisational, and project management skills.
  • Confident communications skills, as you work closely with other teams in the business and with clients.
  • Content analysis experience, with tools such as: Google Analytics, Google Search Console, Screaming Frog, AhRefs, SEMrush etc.
