Location: Remote – Germany – Flexible Working Hours 

Salary: €85,000 – €115,000 + Shares

Languages: C2 German or C2 French and English 

 

A revolutionary, Berlin based Femtech brand which is focused on female empowerment and equality are seeking a Chief Marketing Officer (CMO) to drive the businesses growth an expansion. This role is focused on the growth of the French market, meaning being French speaking would be a huge advantage.

If you’re a bilingual leader with a deep understanding of Performance Marketing, Influencer Marketing, and B2C start-up environments, this role is offering you the opportunity to take control of the businesses marketing efforts, make a huge impact on the business and impact an industry and promote equality through innovation.

 

Chief Marketing Officer (CMO) Role Overview

As the CMO, you’ll play a pivotal role in advancing the company’s mission of equality through innovation, by being instrumental in the management and expansion of the businesses marketing efforts.

You’ll report directly to the CEO and manage a dynamic team of 25 across various international markets. Your expertise in Performance Marketing, Influencer Marketing, CRM, branding, and PR will enable you to collaborate closely with four Marketing Leads, guiding them to success.

Chief Marketing Officer Role Responsibilities

  • Manage and allocate seven-digit budgets annually to drive impactful campaigns.
  • Collaborate closely with C-Level stakeholders and marketing leads to shape marketing strategy.
  • Oversee a mixed team of 25, including four direct reports, in international markets.
  • Dive deep into operational data to advise on training and efficiency improvements.
  • Leverage your strong grasp of multiple Ad Managers to guide campaign setup and optimization.
  • Apply your extensive knowledge to challenge and support the teams in Performance Marketing, Influencer Marketing, CRM, Branding, PR, and SEO.

 

Skills and Experience Required for the Chief Marketing Officer (CMO) Role

  • Proficient in German or French with strong English communication skills.
  • Over five years of experience in at least 2 of the following areas: Performance Marketing, Influencer Marketing, Brand Management and Content/CRM Marketing.
  • Minimum of two years in a leadership role.
  • Prior experience in B2C/D2C startup environments.
  • Analytical acumen and a demonstrated alignment with the company’s values of empowerment and feminism.
