Business Development Manager

Job Title: Business Development Manager

Salary: £45,000 – £50,000 + Generous Commission Structure

Location: Remote – Must be based in the UK


The Company

An industry leading digital agency are looking for a Business Development Manager with experience in digital marketing sales to join their fast-growing agency. The business works with some of the biggest UK brands, providing an innovative performance marketing service. Because of this level of service, the business is now looking to expand their Sales and Business Development Team to support their continued growth.

As Manager, you will be an integral part of the Sales and Business Development team, taking control of your own accounts to hit the ground running. You will be supported by the Head of Sales to find success in your new role, to hit the ground running and grow into the Business Development Manager role.

This is a completely remote role, and you have the freedom to work how is best for you.


Business Development Manager Role & Responsibilities

As Business Development Manager you will be responsible for translating the businesses unique business proposition into exciting hooks that grab the attention of your future clients. Your day-to-day responsibilities will include:

  • Work with senior managers to develop and execute cold outreach strategies across LinkedIn, email, and calls.
  • Be supported by the Head of Sales as you work on final pitches and proposals.
  • Identify opportunities for growth and new business acquisitions.
  • Be involved in negotiations, completing new sales and business acquisition deals.
  • Build relationships with key stakeholders, from target companies and throughout your wider network.
  • Report to the Head of Sales on the results of your full funnel pipelines, from initial conversations to pitches.
  • Represent the company at industry and network events.


As the Business Development Manager, you will have:

The business is committed to supporting you in a completely remote manner, giving you the tools and support you need to succeed. The business does ask that you have:

  • 4+ years of experience in a business development role.
  • Experience within a digital marketing sales position is ideal.
  • Previous experience in generating pipelines of leads and securing meetings with prospective clients and customers.
  • Strong knowledge of paid search and paid social advertising, with the ability to converse on these topics with prospective customers.
  • A passion for delivering customer excellence.
  • You will have previous experience of conversing with technical and non-technical stakeholders.
  • Strong presentation and pitching skills.
  • Communication, negotiation, and person skills.
